Zerbst Homeland and Marksmen's Festival Run

The Zerbster Heimat- und Schützenfestlauf is an evening community running event held on Friday 7 August 2026 that uses a flat loop through the Schlossgarten with start and finish in front of the Stadthalle. The programme stages multiple distances for youths and adults on the same 1.5 km lap, making it accessible for families, clubs and schools while keeping logistics simple. Entries are taken online via the official timing provider and participants collect bibs at the Stadthalle from 16:30 on race day.

The event is organised by TSV Rot-Weiß Zerbst, Abt. Leichtathletik and includes age-class prizes and a trophy for the largest participating group. The organiser requires participants to confirm they are competition-fit and states there is no organiser liability for damages; registration also covers consent to storage and publication of competition-relevant data and images in line with EU GDPR. Changing facilities and showers are provided nearby and parking is signposted for attendees close to the Stadthalle.
