VSB Dresden Night Run

The VSB Dresdner Nachtlauf is an evening road running event held in Dresden on 14 August 2026. The original event name on organiser materials is VSB Dresdner Nachtlauf and the race programme features multiple distances for adults and children, including a 11.5 km main race and shorter childrens events. The course runs along the Elbe and through city bridges and is presented as an illuminated night-time experience with torches and glow-sticks guiding the route.

Runners can choose from the 11.5 km and 6.2 km races or register children for the 1.8 km and 400 m Bambini runs; the 11.5 km field offers pacemakers for target times. The organiser provides electronic net timing, on-course drinks and a finish area with refreshments, free bag drop and changing facilities, and finishers receive a medal and online certificate. The event is promoted as part of Dresdens evening festival atmosphere and highlights views of the Blue Wonder and the Dresden skyline along the route.
