The NTT DATA Citylauf Dresden 2026 brings a fast, spectator-friendly road running festival to the heart of Dresden on Sunday, 22 March 2026. Centred on a flat 5 km loop around the historic city centre, the event caters to all abilities with distances from a 450 m Bambini dash and a 2 km children’s run to the flagship 5 km and 10 km races. A dedicated elite 10 km wave provides a clear path for performance-focused athletes, while pacers support popular target times across the main distances. The day is designed for a smooth participant experience with electronic chip timing, on-course and finish refreshments, changing facilities, and free bag drop.
Start and finish are located on the Terrassenufer by the Semperoper, showcasing Dresden’s riverside skyline and city landmarks. The 10 km race covers two laps of the 5 km loop, and the programme features youth-friendly options plus a fun Mascot Championship. The event supports local youth running by donating from each 5 km and 10 km starter, reinforcing its community focus. Public transport is easy, with a KombiTicket for local transit included in the entry on race day.
