The 36. Novaled Citylauf Dresden is a one-day city running festival held in Dresden on 22 March 2026 with start and finish at the Terrassenufer beside the Semperoper. The programme traditionally stages multiple road races through the historic city centre, including separate elite and mass-start 10 km races, a 5 km option (linked to the R5K series), a 2 km children’s run and a short Bambini race. The event combines competitive racing for elite athletes with family-focused mass-participation activities and supporting attractions such as partner stands and a race village.
The course is WA/AIMS‑measured and presented as a flat, fast, officially certified road route. Race services include electronic chip timing, pacemakers for common target times, prize money and age-category awards for main races, and a finisher medal. Registration benefits include a VVO public-transport ticket valid on event day; on-site facilities include secure bag drop, changing/showers, food and drink services and spectator activities (including a mascot championship).
