Ultra X England is a multi-distance trail ultramarathon held in the Peak District National Park, based around Edale with race headquarters at Newfold Farm. The event (Ultra X England) takes place across a weekend in September and offers single-stage and multi-stage options that traverse Peak District ridgelines, moorland trails and limestone valleys. Distances range from a short Dash through to the long ultradistance option, and several races at this edition are UTMB Index qualifying events.
The race weekend includes comprehensive on-course support: fully marked routes, water and snacks at checkpoints, medical cover, therapists on site, GPS tracking and a finishers' medal. Camping is provided for multi-stage entrants with camping passes available for other distances, and there are community and participant services such as a pasta meal and optional therapist treatments at the finish. The event is part of the Ultra X England series and forms one of the eligible races for the GB Slam challenge.
