Peak District South & North (PSN) is a two-day late-autumn trail running weekend based in Edale, organised by Ranger Ultras. The event stages a 50 km White Peak course on Saturday and a 43 km Dark Peak course on Sunday, with a combined 93 km option for entrants completing both days. Routes run on public rights of way and use sections of the Pennine Way and Pennine Bridleway; GPX files and course notes are supplied to entrants rather than full waymarking. The weekend emphasizes simple, low-key hospitality at Race HQ with on-course refreshments and finish-line food.
The event is held under a Trail Running Association permit and England Athletics competition rules and requires participants to be 20 years or older on race day. Entrants receive navigation materials, GPX files and an eco finisher medal, with winners' trophies and age-category trophies awarded on each relevant course. Accommodation options and parking are available in Edale, and race transport for course transfers is included as part of entry. The organiser positions the PSN weekend as an accessible but challenging trail experience suited to navigational running and moorland terrain.
