Trail du Grand Genève

Trail du Grand Genève is a cross‑border trail running weekend taking place in the Grand Genève area around Lac Léman. The event, presented under the French title "Trail du Grand Genève", spans Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May 2026 and links lakeside scenery, river valleys and the Salève massif across Switzerland and France. The programme offers multiple distances and formats for elite and recreational participants, emphasising local landscapes and a route identity that literally crosses an international border.

The weekend includes a mix of individual trails, team relays and family races from short children’s runs to longer, UTMB‑indexed distances and a dedicated uphill challenge, L’Ultra Montée. Mandatory safety equipment is required for the longer races and organisers highlight cut‑offs and finish‑by times for several distances; parcours and GPX traces are published for competitors. The event is presented by the Runningeneva network with local partners and positions itself as accessible, community‑focused and environmentally anchored while retaining technical, exposed sections on some courses.
