Montreux, Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), Switzerland
Run Mate by Core-Lean Lac Léman is a two-day relay ultramarathon that circumnavigates Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) with both start and finish in Montreux. The route is presented as approximately 215–220 kilometres following the lake shoreline and is divided into 24 relay legs of varying length and difficulty. The event blends road and trail terrain with a total positive elevation of about 2,500 metres according to the published course profile. Participants are invited to share the experience in teams while enjoying scenic stretches along the lake.
Teams consist of between 2 and 9 runners and the race format is designed for continuous baton-style relays across two days and one night of racing, with vehicle logistics provided per team. The organiser supplies GPX/KML files and a detailed relay breakdown on the official course pages, and final GPX files are noted as published shortly before departure. The 2026 edition is listed as sold out on the official site, but a waiting list is open for late entries.
