The Thüringen ULTRA is a one-day endurance event centred on Fröttstädt, Germany, featuring a marked 100 km loop (Rundkurs) that accumulates approximately 2,150 metres of ascent. The race accepts individual ultrarunners and relay teams, with official relay formats of 2 x 50 km and 4 x 25 km, and offers a compact event village at the start/finish area. The course is waymarked and supported by multiple feeding points, and the organiser Lauffeuer Fröttstädt e.V. publishes a detailed Ausschreibung and registration information on the official event website.
Official timing is provided with Sportident ActivCard chip timing (chip rental included in the entry fee), with intermediate splits recorded after 27 km, 54 km and 76 km and a stated target finish (Zielschluss) of 22:00 on race day. The event schedule includes on-site bib pickup and late registration from 03 July 2026, camping in the finish area and limited mass-accommodation, a winners' ceremony (Siegerehrung) and a large post-race runners' party. Finisher shirts are provided to individual entrants who meet the stated registration and payment deadlines, with later entrants receiving shirts by post where applicable; participants are advised to consult the official pages for final registration deadlines and fees.
