SportScheck RUN München 2026 is the Munich edition of the nationwide SportScheck RUN series and features road races over 5 km, 10 km and the 21.1 km half marathon, plus children’s events. The event page and starter information emphasise that the official SportScheck RUN shirt (supplied by Brooks) is the participant’s entry credential and must be worn during the RUN. Timing and official results are handled by TimeMotion using a shoe-transponder; net times are viewable on the TimeMotion results portal. The Munich course starts behind the Siegestor on Ludwigstraße and runs through prominent green sections such as the Englischer Garten, passing landmarks like the Monopteros and the Chinesischer Turm.
Ticketing for the Munich edition is handled online and tickets/starter information are delivered by email (Munich is handled by email delivery rather than in-store packet pickup). The half-marathon distance is explicitly marked as sold out on the event page. Munich-specific logistics include on-course refreshments supplied by ESN and a finish-area beverage partner (Erdinger Alkoholfrei), team-registration handling via [email protected], and starter information distributed by a Starterinfo München document and information email approximately four weeks before the event. The event features staggered start times for each distance and untimed children’s/Bambini runs.
