The 12. Olympiaberg-Cross München mit Deutschem Cross Cup is a one-day cross-country meeting held on the slopes of the Olympiaberg within Munich’s Olympiapark. The meeting combines age-group and elite competition across multiple distances and is officially listed as part of the Deutscher Cross Cup, with separate cup standings for several classes. The event features an open Elite race with prize money, team classifications for youth categories and a distinctive barefoot run with a keepsake pendant for barefoot finishers.
The course is a demanding, approximately 1,100-metre loop around the Olympiaberg with steep climbs and four straw-bale obstacles that add technical sections near the start/finish area. Organisers publish registration and timing via Race Result AG and provide on-site start documents, certificate printing and live results on the event website. The event is promoted by Förderverein Leichtathletik & Events München e. V. and includes broad youth participation alongside elite fields, making it both spectator-friendly and competitive.
