Start/finish at Freiwillige Feuerwehr Maria Schutz, Maria Schutz (Semmering), Niederösterreich, Austria
The Semmering Adventure Trailrun (also shown on some pages as Semmering Trailrun) is a one-day trail running event held at Maria Schutz near Semmering in Niederösterreich, Austria. The route network climbs above the forest line in the Eastern Alps and offers summit-cross viewpoints and panoramic mountain scenery. The organiser presents the race as family-friendly and highlights that the venue is only around 40 minutes from Vienna by car. The start and finish are located at the Freiwillige Feuerwehr Maria Schutz, with free parking provided close to the event hub.
The event offers multiple distance options — from short 4-kilometre walking-friendly routes up to a 28-kilometre survivor course and a 6-hour endurance format — and includes a distinct 3.3-kilometre downhill special. Race materials on the organiser site provide downloadable GPX files and a participant information PDF, and dog-specific terms are published for competitors running with dogs. All finishers receive a finisher medal and the finish area provides food and drink services for participants and spectators.
