### Event Description: Rohatecká devítka Join us for the exhilarating **Rohatecká devítka**, a premier road race taking place on **May 8, 2025**, starting at **9:00 AM** in the picturesque village of Rohatec, located in the Hodonín district of the South Moravian Region. This exciting event promises to be a highlight of the local sports calendar, featuring a vibrant mix of competitive running and community spirit. The race consists of a scenic **10-kilometer course**, primarily flat with gentle elevations, winding through six beautiful loops of Rohatec. Female participants will tackle a shorter challenge of **5 kilometers**, traversing three loops. In addition to the running events, we welcome inline skating enthusiasts to join our open category, ensuring fun for all! The event kicks off with registration at the **Kulturní dům** from **8:00 AM**, where participants will receive their race packets and can soak in the pre-race atmosphere. The starting location is conveniently situated in front of the cultural center, creating a lively backdrop for both runners and spectators. We cater to a wide range of ages and skill levels, featuring categories for children, youth, and various adult age brackets, including M39, M40, M50, M60, M65, M70, and women's divisions (Z34, Z35+, Z45). Bring your competitive spirit and challenge yourself against previous champions: Martin Kučera, who clocked an impressive **32:45** for the men’s category, and Irena Pospíšilová, the reigning women’s champion with a superb time of **18:30**. Participants will compete for both cash and material prizes totaling around **10,000 CZK**, along with coveted trophies from the Moravian-Slovak Running Cup Rotor.
