Rathausplatz, Mank
The Manker Lauffestival is a single-day community running festival held in Mank and promoted under the local name "Manker Lauffestival". The programme brings together family-focused and competitive races across the afternoon and evening, including a short Bambini run, a one-hour team Kidsrun relay and a one-hour Nachtlauf (night run) that finishes at Rathausplatz. The festival culminates with prize ceremonies and an after-event fireworks display, creating a spectator-friendly evening atmosphere that celebrates local clubs and youth participation.
The event places particular emphasis on participation across ages, offering age-group categories for children, youths and adults as well as trophies and vouchers for winners. The Nachtlauf is a closed, traffic-free 1,088 metre lap with a strict participant cap of 300 and an official finish-bell rule; the Kidsrun is a timed one-hour relay run on a 856 metre lap for three-person teams, and the Bambinilauf provides a short, free-entry youngsters' race. Organised by Laufclub Mank, the festival runs a mixed schedule of on-site and online registration and highlights local sponsors across the programme.
