The Prague International Marathon 2026 is a world-class road marathon traversing Prague’s historic centre and returning for its 31st edition under the RunCzech umbrella. The race is awarded the World Athletics Elite Label and attracts an international field, with approximately 10,600 participants registered for the weekend. The course is certified and run on streets closed to traffic, offering fast lines through iconic city landmarks and professional race services for elite and mass participants alike.
The event weekend (2–3 May 2026) combines the main 42.195 km marathon with a programme of supporting races for families and children, a Marathon Expo for race number pick-up and partner displays, and digital route/GPX resources. Organisers RunCzech provide extensive participant information, charity running options and logistics pages; the main marathon start time for 2026 has been updated to 08:00. Entrants should consult the official RunCzech event pages for the latest maps, registration updates and athlete information.
