The Newcastle-Gateshead Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & Juniors Presented by Nuun is a single-day, multi-distance road race held on Sunday 3 May 2026 that finishes inside Gateshead International Stadium. The event features closed-road courses through Newcastle and Gateshead, showcasing riverside landmarks such as the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Sage Gateshead, BALTIC and the Tyne Bridge, and concludes with runners completing a lap of the stadium track. It is presented by Nuun Hydration and runs in support of The Bubble Foundation, with charity places and fundraising options promoted for the beneficiary.
Races include a full marathon, half marathon, 10K and a juniors race, each chip-timed with themed medals and post-race refreshments and free official photos provided.
