Race for Life Newcastle 5k is a fundraising 5k run and walk organised by Cancer Research UK, taking place on Sunday 12 July 2026 at Town Moor, near Exhibition Park. The event emphasises fundraising for life‑saving cancer research and welcomes walkers, joggers and runners of all abilities to join or form groups. The 5k distance is an achievable challenge (just over three miles) and participants are encouraged to go at their own pace with no pressure to finish within a set time.
On event day there is a communal warm‑up, marshals on course and space for supporters and spectators around the finish; refreshments and toilets will be available.
