Montafon Totale Trail is an alpine trail running festival held in the Montafon valley around Schruns, Austria, that brings together several mountain-distance races on a single day. The event is presented by Silvretta Montafon and is framed as a high‑altitude, demanding series of routes that seek out every metre of ascent, from a 10 km berglauf to a 45 km ultra with substantial elevation gain. Distances include an Ultra (45 km, 3,780 m), a main Trail (31 km, 3,000 m), a shorter Trail (16 km, 1,450 m), a 10 km mountain run and a 31 km relay, all finishing at Nova Stoba. The race routes are described as alpine and challenging, aimed at runners who expect steep climbs and technical terrain.
The event also features a dedicated MTT Kids programme for U7–U17 age groups with races from about 400 m to 3,000 m and complimentary train travel for child participants, making it family friendly. Official start locations are given on the organiser pages (Alpin Sport headquarters in central Schruns for the main Trail/Ultra and the Valisera cable car valley station in St. Gallenkirch for the Mountain Run) and the published start times are 07:00 for the Trail/Ultra, 11:00 for the Mountain Run and 14:00 for the kids, with a general finish window at 18:00. Entrants register via the official event pages and the dedicated Montafon Totale site, which link through to the race result registration portal for entries and race administration.
