Feuerwehrhaus Silbertal, Silbertal, Vorarlberg, Austria
The Raiffeisen Montafon Arlberg Marathon is a cross-border alpine trail event that links two valleys and two Austrian states: Vorarlberg and Tirol. The route runs from Silbertal to St. Anton am Arlberg through the protected Natura‑2000 Verwall area and features forest tracks, alpine paths and significant elevation gain. The weekend offers multiple distances to suit a wide range of participants, from the full 42.195 km mountain marathon to shorter panoramic and family trails, and a children's trail for younger runners. The event is presented under the Montafon Arlberg Marathon branding with Raiffeisen as title sponsor, emphasising scenic alpine endurance experiences.
The 2026 edition is scheduled for 27 June 2026 with programme activity across 26–27 June including bib collection and a pasta party on the Friday evening. Starts are based in Silbertal (Feuerwehrhaus Silbertal) with finishes in St. Anton am Arlberg and the organiser provides shuttle and public‑transport arrangements for participants. The official event site and linked Raceresult pages hold registration, interactive GPX/route material and timing/results information. Event pages explicitly note aid stations and finish refreshments plus official timing and results, while some operational details (detailed start waves, full inclusions and pricing) are published on the registration/athlete information pages.
