Place du Triangle de l'Amitié, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France
The Mont-Blanc Marathon is a four-day mountain running festival centred on Chamonix-Mont-Blanc that gathers a suite of trail races from a vertical kilometre to ultra-distance events. The programme (25–28 June 2026) is organised around iconic hubs in the valley, notably Place du Triangle de lAmitié, Place du Mont-Blanc and the Planpraz finish zone, and combines competitive starts, a Trail Camp and on-site race number collection. The event is presented by Marathon Mont-Blanc and delivered with the support of the Club des Sports de Chamonix, offering both elite starts and mass-participation waves across multiple distances.
The weekend package includes eight principal race formats—90 km, 42 km, 23 km, 10 km, KM Vertical, Duo Étoilé (team), The Young Race and Mini-Cross—plus associated festival activities and prize ceremonies. The organiser emphasises environmentally conscious measures and low-carbon travel policies alongside athlete logistics such as bib collection by appointment and mandatory documentation for certain transport-based bib allocations. Participants should consult the official site for the full athlete information, registration windows and compulsory equipment lists for youth and mountain races.
