Argentière, Chamonix‑Mont‑Blanc, 74400, France
ARGENTRAIL (Argentrail in French) is a mountain trail running event held from Argentière in the Chamonix‑Mont‑Blanc valley, scheduled for 19 July 2026. The event brings runners into high‑alpine terrain with panoramic Mont Blanc views and steep, technical trails that attract both local and visiting trail runners. The programme is compact but varied, offering a longer alpine route, a shorter course aimed at less experienced trail runners and a two‑person relay option for teams.
The 2026 edition includes the main Argentrail route of roughly 27 km with substantial ascent, and the Trail des Grands Montets of about 14 km that serves as a beginner‑friendly mountain course; a relay (duo) format is also provided. The event is presented with course profiles, GPX traces and registration links on the official site and is listed with UTMB Index recognition on event listings. Practical information, results archives and social channels are available from the organiser for accommodation, safety and race logistics.
