Iron Room Hall near Tring Station, Station Road, Tring, HP23 5QX, United Kingdom
The Chilterns 30km (Run The Wild) is a guided, non-competitive trail running adventure through the scenic Chiltern Hills, starting from the Iron Room near Tring Station. Participants are grouped by ability and accompanied by experienced Run Leaders who provide trail technique instruction, local route knowledge and on-course support. The route winds through beech woodland, grassy ridge lines and quaint villages with a well-stocked checkpoint to keep groups refreshed. The event is deliberately small and supportive, emphasising learning and camaraderie rather than competition.
Entry includes support from Run Leaders, a refreshment checkpoint, secure bag drop and a Run The Wild finisher's medal plus a Trees not Tees certificate to recognise participation. The event is positioned for runners comfortable on trails and able to be out on their feet for several hours over rolling terrain with approximately 500 m of ascent. Practical travel information is provided on the organiser's page, with Tring rail station a short walk from the start and limited parking nearby. Participants are required to accept the event terms and mandatory kit list at booking.
