The Chiltern Ridge Half Marathon is a scenic, off‑road half marathon run along a stretch of the Ridgeway National Trail in the Chiltern Hills. The route runs between Coombe Hill (near Wendover) and Whiteleaf Hill (near Princes Risborough) and incorporates a loop through Whiteleaf Hill Nature Reserve. The course is entirely on trail and is undulating and hilly with short steep climbs and technical descents that will test strength and stamina. It is aimed at trail runners looking for a challenging, picturesque race in Buckinghamshire.
The race is scheduled for 5 July 2026 with a 10:00 local start; the event base is at the Shoulder of Mutton pub in Wendover and the finish is at Hampden Meadow. Entries are chip‑timed and include a finisher medal, with on‑course drink and nutrition stations, bag drop and medical cover provided. Organisers publish a four‑hour cut‑off for finishers and advise participants to prepare for navigation on uneven terrain. Wendover train station is a short walk from the event base, making public transport a convenient option for arrival and departure.
