The Downs, Stoke Road, Bristol, BS9 1FG (start/finish on grass near Ladies Mile & Stoke Road)
Bristol 10k 2026 is part of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life series and takes place on The Downs, Bristol on Sunday 21 June 2026, starting at 10:00. The event is a charity 10 kilometre run or walk on a primarily grass, mixed-terrain route arranged as a two-lap course, giving participants the chance to support cancer research while enjoying a sociable atmosphere. The 10k is chip-timed so entrants can track personal performance on the day, and the course has an overall ascent of approximately 56 metres across the full distance.
The event is presented as a friendly, family-focused fundraiser with provisions for accessibility (wheelchair access with assistance and sunflower wristbands available at enquiries) and on-site refreshments and toilets. Spectators are welcome and the finish area encourages a picnic-style gathering after the race, with travel guidance by public transport and nearby parking options detailed for attendees. Participants are asked to support fundraising (minimum target shown on the page is £50) and the organiser provides fundraising support and guidance for entrants.
