Bristol 10k 2026 is part of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life series and takes place on The Downs, Bristol on Sunday 21 June 2026, starting at 10:00. The event is a charity 10 kilometre run or walk on a primarily grass, mixed-terrain route arranged as a two-lap course, giving participants the chance to support cancer research while enjoying a sociable atmosphere. The 10k is chip-timed so entrants can track personal performance on the day, and the course has an overall ascent of approximately 56 metres across the full distance.
The event is presented as a friendly, family-focused fundraiser with provisions for accessibility (wheelchair access with assistance and sunflower wristbands available at enquiries) and on-site refreshments and toilets. Spectators are welcome and the finish area encourages a picnic-style gathering after the race, with travel guidance by public transport and nearby parking options detailed for attendees.
