Start on Rupert Street; finish on Anchor Road, Millennium Square, Bristol BS1 5DB, United Kingdom
The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run 2026 is a city-centre running event held in Bristol on 10 May 2026, offering both a 10k and a half marathon. The 2026 edition features an updated course direction with both races run in reverse to previous years, taking in waterfront sections, Spike Island and the Avon Gorge with views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The event is staged around Millennium Square / Anchor Road and finishes on Anchor Road, providing a grandstand-style finish for participants and spectators. Waves are allocated by estimated finish time and entry options include paid places and charity/sponsored entries through partner charities.
Runners receive a bespoke finisher medal, an exclusive finishers' t-shirt (optional), a finisher's bag and official event photos, and the event uses chip timing with live results and tracking via the Great Run app. There is a pre-event information pack and race number distribution in the weeks before the event, baggage buses and secure bag-drop arrangements on race day, and on-course aid stations and medical support. The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run sits within the AJ Bell Great Run series and works with multiple charity partners, with fundraising and charity entry routes available for those wishing to support a cause.
