The Race for Life Blackburn 10k is an evening 10k event taking place at Witton Park on Wednesday 10 June 2026. The race is part of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life series and is chip-timed, with the start and finish on a large grass area opposite Witton Park Arena. The course is a double-lap route combining grass and surfaced paths, suited to participants at a range of abilities who can take it at their own pace or push for a faster time. Entry supports Cancer Research UK fundraising and participants are encouraged to raise funds to help beat cancer.
This Race for Life Blackburn 10k offers practical access arrangements and inclusive measures, with notes that the route is wheelchair accessible with assistance and support available from event staff. On-site provisions include refreshments, toilets and parking close to the venue, and the meeting point is signposted on the event page (what3words ///drain.idea.wiring). The event is family-friendly and spectator-friendly, designed to welcome supporters as well as fundraisers and runners of all levels.
