The West Coast Half Marathon takes place on 11 October 2026 and is a point-to-point 13.1 mile (half marathon) running event organised by Fylde Coast Runners. The race starts at Preston Docks (Navigation Way) and finishes at Fairhaven Lake in Lytham St Annes, with runners transported to the start from the race HQ at Fairhaven Lake. The course is described as flat and fast, following sections of the Guild Wheel and passing through Freckleton and Warton before the coastal finish at Fairhaven Lake. Entrants should consult the organiser's official event page for final course maps and start logistics.
The event is limited to a small field and includes chip timing, baggage drop, parking and a bespoke finish medal, with finish refreshments and event photography provided. A shuttle service is offered from the race HQ to the Preston start for the shuttle-entry option; an alternative registration option requires competitors to make their own travel arrangements to Preston. Fylde Coast Runners administer the event and publish full terms, entry policies and final participant information on the official event page prior to race day.
