Berger Advent Run – 2026

The Berger Adventslauf (Berger Advent Run) is a community running event organised by TuS Berge's Lauftreff section and traditionally held in early November. The event combines a family-friendly Bambinilauf with youth races, a 6 km Jedermannlauf and a longer cross-country Sparkassen Cup race, and is promoted as the 12th scoring race in the Sparkassen Cup Laufserie. Registration is managed via the Laufen‑OS portal and the organiser publishes a PDF Ausschreibung and course GPX/Komoot links for competitors.

The course uses a mix of roads, paths and forest trails around the Sonnenberg/Berger Kreuzberg area, with a dedicated start/finish at Schulzentrum Berge and changing rooms and showers available in the sports hall. The event emphasizes school participation and age-class results for the youth races, awards top finishers in the longer races, and typically limits entries (a recent edition recorded 463 finishers while the 2026 allocation notes 252 places).
