The event "Wettkampf - Kettenkamper Volkslauf- 2026" is an evening community running meeting held at the Sportanlage Kettenkamp on Friday 21 August 2026. It features three races for different ages and abilities: a 2.2 km Schülerlauf (part of the Staas‑Junior Cup), a 5 km Jedermannlauf and a 10.2 km Sparkassen Cup race. The event is organised locally by the Lauftreff des SV Kettenkamp e.V and appears on the regional Sparkassen Cup schedule, emphasising community competition and series scoring.
Online registration is open until 20 August 2026 (no on‑day registrations) and start numbers are issued on site on the day. Prizes include medals for the Schülerlauf participants and certificates and material prizes for top finishers in the 5 km and 10.2 km races, with results/printable certificates available via the organiser website after the event. Facilities at the venue include showers/changing in the sportlerheim and parking adjacent to the sportanlage.
