37th Goslar Old Town Run

The 37. Goslarer Altstadtlauf (Goslar Old Town Run) is a two-day running festival centred on the Marktplatz in Goslar, Germany, with a Warm-Up team relay on the evening of 2 May and the main programme on 3 May 2026. The event is organised by MTV Goslar von 1849 e.V. with LG Nordharz as organising partner and is presented as a DLV-approved athletics event with electronic chip timing. Races take place on historic, often cobbled, town-centre streets and the organisers emphasise family-friendly races alongside competitive distances. Registration is handled via the linked RaceResult portal and on-site late entries are available during published collection times.

The programme includes core competitive distances (9.6 km and 4.8 km), multiple junior and schnupper races from 500 m to 2.4 km, two Volkslauf start waves, and a Warm-Up Stunden-Staffellauf (team relay) limited to teams of 4–6 runners. All participants receive a finisher's medal; optional event T-shirts can be ordered before the printed deadline. Team and individual awards are provided for top finishers.
