Zeeland Walking Marathon

The Wandelmarathon - Kustmarathon Zeeland is scheduled for 4 October 2026 as the 21st edition of the walking marathon between Burgh-Haamstede and Zoutelande. The event covers the full marathon distance of 42.195 kilometres along a mixed coastal route of roads, dunes and beach sections and finishes in Zoutelande on the Langstraat. The organiser is Stichting Kustmarathon Zeeland and the official event page is hosted on kustmarathon.nl.

Participants may start during the published start window from 07:00 until 08:30, with a finish deadline of 18:00. The entry package includes a named start number, chip timing, refreshments and vouchers on the route, a finish snack voucher and a medal, and photos are taken along the course for promotional use. Bus transfers are arranged from the finish (Zoutelande) to the start (Burgh-Haamstede) before the event and start numbers for domestic addresses are posted in mid‑September.
