Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K

The Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K is a single-day, multi-distance event organised by Tempo Events in support of St Richard's Hospice. The 2026 edition follows a sell-out in 2025 and features a two-lap Full Marathon, a Half Marathon that shares the first lap and splits after about 11 miles, and a separate 10K. The races start in the morning from Offerton Lane with the Full and Half at 09:30 and the 10K at 10:00, and all finish at Worcester Rugby Club for 2026. Entrants are encouraged to pre-enter early, with numbers and timing chips posted to participants shortly before the race.

The event emphasises participant safety and convenience, with multiple aid stations (seven for the marathon, three for the half and one for the 10K), a secure baggage drop near the finish and free parking at Sixways Stadium. There are prizes for the first three men and women in each race plus age-group prizes from 35 years in ten-year increments, and a marathon cutoff directing slower runners to complete the half if the 11-mile point is not reached within 2:15. All finishers receive a bespoke 2026 finisher medal and post-race photographs are made available via the official photography partner. The race also notes that only bone-conduction headphones are approved for use on the open road under UK Athletics rules.
