Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz (Olympiapark Nord), 80809 München, Germany
The Wings for Life World Run München (Wings for Life World Run München) is the Munich flagship of the global charity run that raises funds for spinal cord research. The event is a mass participation road run beginning at Olympiapark Nord and is notable for its worldwide synchronous start and the unique Catcher Car finish that determines each participant's endpoint rather than a fixed distance. As a flagship run it draws large local and national participation and sits at the heart of the wider Wings for Life World Run movement.
This edition takes place on 10 May 2026 at 13:00 local time, with all entry fees and donations directed to the Wings for Life Foundation for spinal cord research. The Munich route starts in the Olympiapark area and passes central city landmarks before extending out of the inner city, offering a mix of urban scenery and long-distance opportunities for participants. The event emphasises inclusivity and charity impact while providing the distinctive moving-finish format that defines the World Run.
