Stadtlauf Wilhelmsburg is a community-oriented town run staged across a two-day weekend, with children's and youth races on Friday evening and the main 5 km and 10 km events on Saturday. The 2026 edition adds an Inklusionslauf (inclusive run) to the programme and retains on-site bib pick-up at the Sporthalle Wilhelmsburg, while the start and finish are centred in the Stadtpark. Registration and results are handled via the RaceResult portal and on-site late entries are explicitly permitted within published windows, making the event accessible for families and late planners.
The event is organised by Naturfreunde Wilhelmsburg and combines competitive and mass-participation elements with a local park festival and award ceremonies each evening. The programme emphasises youth participation with multiple age-group runs (including a Knirpselauf and several Jugendlauf categories) and a community-focused Jedermannlauf alongside the Hauptlauf.
