The Wienerberg Run – Der Favoritner Bezirkslauf am Wienerberg returns as a community road running day in Vienna, marking its 10th edition. The event takes place in the Erholungsgebiet Wienerberg (Wienerberg recreation area) and offers a mix of short family races and a competitive 10 km distance, making it suitable for all ages. Organised by Sport- und Kulturverein 10ter Hieb, the day combines sport, live music and local community involvement, with an option to donate to Volkshilfe Favoriten during registration. The programme highlights family-friendly elements alongside competitive categories for various age groups.
Race day logistics begin early with bib pickup and starter-bag distribution from 08:00, childrens races from 09:00 and the main races (Hobbylauf, Nordic Walking and the 10 km Wienerberg Run) starting at 10:00. Online registration closes on 5 May 2026, with on-site late entries accepted for a small fee; medals are explicitly provided to all finishers and trophies awarded to category winners.
