Start: Ecke Kastanienweg / An der Ruhbank, Bad Windsheim
The Weinturmlauf is the 25th edition of the Bad Windsheimer charity run organised by Rotary Club Uffenheim and TV 1860 Bad Windsheim e.V. The event is staged in Bad Windsheim’s historic Kurpark around the Weinturm and offers multiple distances from a Schüler- und Jugendlauf up to a Halbmarathon, making it suitable for families, hobby runners and experienced athletes. Proceeds support social projects for children and youth in the region, with Klasse 2000 cited as an example beneficiary, and the jubilee edition will include special highlights and celebration activities.
Organisers publish new routes for 2026 and again offer the training programme “von Null auf 10 km – Starte jetzt”; online registrants receive a finisher T‑shirt made from certified organic cotton. Practical information on the event hub and logistics is provided: the Läuferzentrum is at Firma Hahn Zelt GmbH, Külsheimerstrasse 14, packet pickup is available on Saturday and on race morning from 08:00, the transponder is integrated in the start number and showers are available at the Kiliani Klinik after the race. On-site late registration is permitted on race day from 08:00 (a Nachmeldegebühr of €3.00 applies) and a common finish deadline (Zielschluss) of 13:15 is stated for all races.
