Wallenstein Half Marathon

The Wallenstein-Halbmarathon is a local running event hosted in Altdorf bei Nürnberg, Bavaria, Germany. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 26 July 2026 and features the classic 21.1 km half marathon distance, with a race start at the Sportpark TV 1881 Altdorf. Organised by the community sports club TV 1881 Altdorf (Abteilung Lauftreff), the event offers chip timing (bib‑integrated) and finishing facilities including changing rooms and showers.

For 2026 the event also provides multiple distance options beyond the half marathon — including 12 km and 5 km hobby runs and a 5 km Nordic‑Walking category — run on a mixed course of roads, cycle paths and forest trails around Altdorf. There is a team competition across distances and a city championship element for Altdorf residents; aid stations with isotonic drinks and water are provided at key points. Bib pickup is offered the day before and on race morning, and registered participants may buy the official race shirt at the finish; participants are offered free admission to the Altdorf public pool on race day when showing their bib.
