Friendship Run — 22nd edition (07 November 2026)

Freundschaftslauf (Friendship Run) is a free, non-competitive community running meetup organised by LLG Wustweiler, held on 07 November 2026. The programme includes the WuStweiler‑Biber‑Trail (WuBiT), a 21 km trail with approximately 600 metres of ascent, together with a range of shorter running options (7–11 km) and walking routes (5–6 km). The event is explicitly non-competitive: there is no official timing or classification and no entry fee, and runs are led in pace groups by experienced LLG runners. GPX route files are provided for the main trail and participants are advised to wear suitable trail shoes for forest paths and trails.

The flagship WuBiT (Wustweiler Biber‑Trail) is a 21 km trail with roughly 600 m of ascent, a refreshment point at about kilometre 12 and a three‑hour time limit for completion; a GPX route is provided for navigation. Parallel guided running options (7–11 km) and guided walking routes (5–6 km) start later in the afternoon and are run in supervised groups. On‑site facilities include changing rooms and showers at Seelbachhalle Wustweiler, and there is a communal food and drink offering in the hall after the runs.

The event start and finish are at Seelbachhalle Wustweiler (Am Seelbach 3) with the event point near Dorfwaldhalle Wustweiler in Illingen. The organisers emphasise safety in woodland terrain and publish a safety notice: participation is at the entrant's own risk and liability is limited to intent or gross negligence. As part of the LLG Illtal‑Cup series, eligible participants who complete the required series events are entered into a sponsored prize draw (balloon flight for two) — specific eligibility conditions are noted by the organiser.
