Vienna International Center – UNO‑City, Vienna
The Vienna City Marathon is Austria’s flagship road running weekend, centred on the city of Vienna and held under the Vienna City Marathon (VCM) brand. The event week spans Saturday and Sunday, with community and children’s races on Saturday and the half marathon, marathon and relay on Sunday; the marathon finish is on the Ringstrasse between the Burgtheater and City Hall. The course showcases Vienna’s landmarks, passing the Vienna International Center (UNO‑City) start, the Prater, the State Opera and Schönbrunn Palace, and is promoted as a flat, fast sightseeing route through the musical capital.
The VCM weekend includes inclusive and family-focused events such as The Daily Mile, the Princess & Prince Run and the Coca-Cola Inclusion Run alongside competitive distances and a team relay, allowing participants of all ages and abilities to take part. The organiser positions the VCM within wider initiatives, including its announced involvement in the European Marathon Classics series, and offers a compact programme of races and official course maps for each day. Registration statuses and detailed athlete information are published on the official vienna-marathon.com pages and the published course maps for 2026.
