TIROL LÄUFT FRAUENLAUF is a weekend-long women-focused running festival held in Innsbruck that brings together competitive and participatory formats under the Tirol läuft brand. The event weekend (19–20 June 2026) features multiple distances and formats including a 5 km city loop, a 10 km race, a half marathon and relay/team events, plus a children’s run; many elements take place around the Landestheater Vorplatz and through Innsbruck’s Altstadt along the Inn. The organiser, Laufwerkstatt, promotes inclusivity and a festival atmosphere with food trucks, a programme village and post-race get-togethers across the two days. Practical participant services emphasised on the official pages include bib pickup windows, a luggage depot, nearby showers, optional accident insurance and training offerings in the lead-up to the event.
The course is described as a scenic roughly 5 km loop that starts and finishes at the Landestheater Vorplatz and can be repeated for longer distances; relay handovers are staged at the Vorplatz. Entry packages across Bronze/Silver/Gold tiers (as shown on the event pages) commonly include a starter bag of partner goods, on-course and finish catering and a finisher medal, and participants may use Innsbruck public transport free of charge with their start number. The programme page and the event's participant information note that some races may be run with or without official timing, while competitive categories and age-group prizes are maintained. Full, up-to-date start lists, wave times and any final schedule are published by the organiser on the official event site and in the provisional programme announcements.
