Tour O The Borders

Tour O The Borders is a closed‑road cycling sportive taking place on Sunday 6 September 2026, starting and finishing in Peebles in the Scottish Borders. The event offers two supported route options — the Full Route and the Challenge — that travel quiet, picturesque back roads and showcase landmarks such as the Devil’s Beeftub, Moffat Dale, Grey Mare’s Tail and the Talla/Megget traverse. The organisers promote traffic‑free riding with coordinated traffic management and neutralised sections where required, emphasising rider safety and scenic riding. The route design is described by the organisers as challenging but rewarding, and the 2026 edition follows the same route used in 2025.

On‑course support includes feed stations with local produce, mechanical assistance, sweep vehicles and comprehensive first aid provision, with electronic chip timing and an official finisher medal for all finishers. Riders will depart in waves within an approximate start window of 06:45–07:15 and must observe a stated average minimum speed of 16 km/h as part of event safety guidance. Entry and rider pack arrangements are handled via SIEntries, with rider pack collection offered either in person the day before or by postal delivery. The event is organised by Hillside Outside Ltd and provides an event village atmosphere alongside practical services for participants.
