Grinduro Scotland is a weekend festival of gravel riding and mountain-bike-style enduro set within the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle on the Queensberry Estate. The event combines competitive riding with a strong festival programme, featuring talks, films, brand workshops, live music and a village atmosphere that emphasises fun as much as performance. The signature format is a single long loop with four timed segments, meaning the result is decided on the timed stages rather than overall loop pace, and there is also a shorter Grindurito alternative and social rides across the weekend.
The festival offers on-course support, feed zones and professional race timing alongside rider swag, prizes and a locally sourced Saturday evening meal, with camping available for purchase separately. Entrants are encouraged to bring layered clothing and spares because terrain and weather can be changeable, and e-bikes may join the route in an untimed, just-for-fun category. Grinduro Scotland forms a points-scoring round of the grALBA Series and is delivered alongside the South Scotland Outdoor Festival, giving riders a mix of competitive stages and broad festival programming.
