Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna
The Three Peaks Bike Race 2026 is an unsupported bikepacking race in which riders must plan and ride their own route linking three major mountain passes, starting at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna and finishing in Barcelona. The event is organised by Adventure Bike Racing and runs as a multi-day, long-distance challenge with both Solo and Team (2–4 riders) categories. Competitors are required to be fully self-supported, follow local laws, pass a pre-race bike check and use the provided GPS tracker if they wish to be ranked in the general classification. The organiser publishes route concepts, rules and annual results on the official event pages and may issue minor route updates before the event.
Registration for the 2026 edition is handled via Adventure Bike Racing’s account system and the entry fee includes a tracking device, an official race cap and event photography where available, with individual times published on the website. The event explicitly states there is no prize money and sets clear refund windows and non-transferable ticket rules. Riders should prepare for long days across mixed alpine terrain, accept that some checkpoint labels are placeholders until final route files are issued, and review the 2026 manual and official downloads prior to travel. The race messaging emphasises self-reliance, GPS tracking for ranking and adherence to the organiser’s rules throughout the course.
