The Three Peaks Bike Race 2026 is an unsupported, long-distance bikepacking event organised by Adventure Bike Racing (ABR). The race challenges riders to plan and ride their own route between three mandatory mountain checkpoints, emphasising self-sufficiency, navigation skill and endurance rather than a fixed course. For 2026 the start is listed at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna and the organiser describes a finishing parcours to Barcelona, with route files and checkpoint details published by ABR.
The event offers both Solo and Team (2–4 riders) categories and requires participants to be fully self‑supported, to obey local laws and to use a provided GPS tracker if they wish to be ranked in the general classification. The 2026 edition names three mandatory peak checkpoints (Mangart Saddle, Kitzbüheler Horn and Col de la Loze) while allowing riders flexibility in the visit order, and organisers note route files may be updated prior to the event. Registration details, fees and the organiser's refund policy are provided on the ABR site and entrants must create an ABR account to sign up.
