The Thames Trail Ultra is a long-distance point-to-point ultra marathon held along the Thames Path and connecting national trails. The event is scheduled for Saturday 24 October 2026 with a start at Hawkwell House Hotel in Iffley, Oxford and a finish at the YMCA Y Centre in Henley‑on‑Thames. The course is described by the organisers as approximately 47 miles (header references to ~48 miles also appear) and combines riverside towpaths, cross‑country trails and some road sections.
The race offers real‑time GPS tracking via GeoTracks, five staffed checkpoints with water and snacks, and a mandatory kit list for safety; random kit checks may be carried out.
