Andermatt (start for Platintour, Goldtour, Silbertour); Bronzetour starts in Ulrichen
Swiss Cycling Alpenbrevet is a one‑day alpine cycling challenge held from a base in Andermatt on Saturday 5 September 2026, offering multiple route options that lead riders over a string of iconic Swiss passes. The series presents distinct tours — Platintour, Goldtour, Silbertour and Bronzetour — plus an Alpenbrevet Extended format, with distances ranging from roughly 68 km to the longest Platintour epic; the event is focused on the experience of climbing classic high‑Alpine passes rather than head‑to‑head competition. Routes include many of Switzerland’s best‑known passes and provide large elevation gains, making the event popular with experienced climbers and endurance cyclists.
The 2026 edition is reported as sold out for the main tours, with a waiting list option available for a CHF 9.00 fee; the Platintour is explicitly limited to 500 participants. The event webpage and associated services provide a routebook, event‑village information and travel guidance, and the series lists presenting and premium partners such as Primeo Energie and Winforce. For official details, schedules and registration updates participants should consult the organiser’s website and the published event pages.
