OCTOPUS Gravel

OCTOPUS Gravel is a hub-and-spoke gravel cycling event held in Andermatt, Switzerland that combines a sporting challenge with a festival atmosphere. The event frames the venue as the event hub and several gravel climbs as arms that return riders to the central area for food, music and an expo. Participants may choose how much to ride on the day, receiving a stamp for each completed ascent and enjoying on-site services such as feed zones and downloadable GPX routes. The event branding highlights community activities, talks and evening entertainment across the weekend.

Competitive elements include three timed climbs (each between 4 km and 6 km) whose results contribute to the Gravel Earth Series, plus separate men’s and women’s prize categories for the fastest riders. The full route options reach up to 155 km with approximately 4,450 metres of climbing, and e‑bikes are permitted though e‑bikers are excluded from timed segments. The organiser provides route indication, event photos, timing, a goodie bag and participant socks, and registration is handled via the linked Njuko page on the official event site.
