Stadtfelder Schrotelauf — Citizens for Stadtfeld Association

The Stadtfelder Schrotelauf is a community running day organised by Bürger für Stadtfeld e.V., scheduled for 16 May 2026 with start and finish at the Montessori Zentrum Magdeburg. The event, billed as the 2nd edition, offers a mix of short children’s races and longer amateur distances that run through the western part of the Schroteanlage. Multiple age categories and sponsored named races are listed on the organiser page, with separate waves for Bambinilauf, walking, children’s runs and main runs to accommodate diverse abilities.

Registration opens on 1 February 2026 and closes on 13 May 2026 (or earlier if sold out), with on-site bib collection offered on 15 May (17:00–19:00) and from 08:00 on race day. Official timing for the timed races is provided by Tanger Timeservice and all finishers receive a medal; the top three in each timed race (excluding the Bambinilauf) receive a trophy and certificate. The event is community-run with a capped field (830 participants) and basic venue facilities such as changing rooms and toilets at the Montessori Zentrum.
