Skywalk Run

The 5. Skywalk Lauf at Waldwelt Allgäu is a day event built around the venue's Baumwipfelpfad (treetop walkway) and adjoining park, combining spectacular views with a physically demanding short-loop course. The event comprises two distinct competitions: a Children's Run for ages 5–13 with two age-group starts, and a one-hour two-person relay for youths and adults (14+) that alternates laps on the 670 metre circuit. The course design includes significant stair sections and vertical gain each lap, giving participants a compact but challenging racing experience in a forested setting.

Organised by Waldwelt Allgäu, the Skywalk Lauf emphasises family participation and community racing, with medals for child finishers and prizes for the top three relay teams in the adult/youth competition. Practical arrangements on the day include on-site registration and check-in, spectator access from mid-afternoon, basic refreshments and musical entertainment at the prize ceremony.
