The Sechs Stunden Urwaldlauf (Six‑Hour Forest Run) is a six‑hour endurance trail run held at the Urwaldscheune (Forsthaus Neuhaus) in Neuhaus near Saarbrücken, Germany. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday 27 September 2026. Organised by HartfüßlerTrail e.V., the main timed event starts at 10:00 with individuals and teams competing to complete as many laps as possible. There is also a free children's Frischlings‑Lauf (non‑timed).
The course is a measured/marked forest loop of roughly 1.85–1.875 km featuring forest singletrack, technical and hilly sections and varied elevation (approximately 46 m gain/loss per lap). Chip timing with lap counting provides live standings. There are individual and team classifications (team-name consistency required for correct scoring). Facilities at the event hub include refreshments, toilets, limited showers, parking and good public transport links, and on‑site medical support is provided. Finishers receive a medal and certificate; results are published on‑site and online.
Entries are handled via the organiser's registration portal; a participant cap applies with provisions for late on‑site registration if capacity allows. The event promotes sustainable measures (bring‑your‑own‑cup policy with alternatives on request), and local rules (for example no dogs or trekking poles) apply. Flexible start arrangements after bib collection are noted in the official information.
